Welcome.
Studio 31 was set up by Sophie and Linds. We are psychotherapists. We set out to create inviting, characterful rooms in Central London.
We have two comfortable, homely rooms, lovingly put together to support therapeutic work. The Yellow Room and the Print Room.
Studio 31 is conveniently within walking distance from Holborn, Chancery Lane, and Russell Square underground stations, plus central bus routes.
The Print Room
Print room
The Print room was set up by Sophie and is influenced by her background in art and design. Decorated with original artwork, books and interesting artefacts, clients have remarked on its inviting, creative and homely feel.
It is spacious, measuring 4.5m x 3.5m, and is at the front of the building with lots of natural light. Ideal for individual, couple or small group work.

The Yellow Room
Yellow Room
The Yellow room was set up by Linds and is inspired by her love of colour and nature. She assembled the room to bring vibrancy, peace and character to the space. Clients have remarked on its welcoming, calm and homely feel.
It is spacious, measuring 4.5m x 2.5m, and is at the back of the building. It is quiet with lots of natural light. Great for individual, couple or small group work.

Room rental tailored for therapists
Our therapists’ wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. Here are some of the ways we actively support our therapists:
We don’t require high deposits, admin fees and we don’t tie you into long contracts. And if you are newly-qualified we offer a 30% discount for the first two months to help you get up and running.
Breaks are important but can be hard to budget for. This is why our monthly fees are pro-rated for 48 weeks, giving therapists 4 weeks free per year.
Consultations and one-off rescheduling can be difficult to organise and budget for. This is why we offer two ad-hoc single hour bookings a month free of charge once you have a block booking.
Studio 31 Community
Nurturing peer support
We are a growing community of professional psychotherapists and counsellors.
We understand that peer support is invaluable. This is why we encourage and support a buddying up with peers in adjacent rooms for in-between session support and security. We also organise social get-togethers and have a private WhatsApp group for Studio 31 members to connect, network, share resources and light-relief.
Referral Scheme
How we help grow your client base
Studio 31 members have a profile listing on our directory and are included in our marketing and promotional efforts. We have worked hard at optimising and promoting the Studio 31 directory so prospective clients can easily find our members. We also provide a therapist matching service for clients who are unsure how to go about choosing a therapist.
There is no additional cost to be listed on the Studio 31 directory or receive referrals. We simply ask therapists to offer the initial consultation free of charge.
Online Therapists
Online therapists
Therapists who work exclusively online can also enjoy the benefits of joining Studio 31.
For an annual fee of £47.50, Studio 31 online membership includes:
A profile on the Studio 31 directory and inclusion in referral scheme
Access to book ad-hoc hour room bookings for one-off consultations or in-person sessions
Invitation to the private Studio 31 WhatsApp group
Invitations to Studio 31 social gatherings
